Took far too long to get to actually resolve the cancellation & refund - 3 days!

I first wrote by email to billing@***.com on 20 November 2024, asking to cancel and be refunded for: 363******** GB / Invoice: INV5186****/ Customer #10117**** to have a payment of £396.00 to be cancelled and a refund be provided.

I keep getting the same response to cancel online through the help centre but am not permitted to get in touch because of something to do with a URL, whatever that means.

I am 82 years of age and find all this IT stuff beyond me.

I should be most grateful for your help, please?

I finally got it installed on my phone. It is such a relief not to have pop-up ads anymore so that's working well.

The installation was an absolute nightmare though because of the technical language they use for a normal person was more than I could understand.

When I tried to make the call I got basically sent to the website and the call disconnected. They need to do better

I think it's CC too soon at other people know what is involved in this installation. You directions are for a person who has a higher level of knowledge of such things than I do.

I don't believe it should have taken over 2 hours of my day to get this working. Simplified directions or explanation of terms used in your normal day.

I will be thrilled to have the ads gone!

The frustration of trying to get this installed almost made me call and ask for a refund.

I didn't want a refund I really wanted a product that worked and was installable at a level that I could understand.

I received a notice saying that once my promotional subscription for $1.99 this month ended, the account would renew at $9.99 per month. Online information states that I should be paying $1.59 per month for the first year.

Please clarify this for me. I will not pay 10 dollars a month.

Company fixed the issue and I have been provided with apology. Asked PayPal to cancel service.

Advised them that I had not ordered it. No refund.

I did not order Total Adblock and have notified you of this a couple of times. I want this canceled immediately and to receive a refund of at least the February and March charges.

I am very upset about this company not stopping this payment, but sending it through my PayPal account. I'm a senior citizen and am on a fixed income.

This charge is hurting me. Please confirm cancellation and advise about a refund.

All your behavior is regrettable.

A good way to steal money from those who might believe you.

The site doesn't work and we can't unsubscribe.

I will report this to the judicial police and write a letter to consumer protection in Portugal and the UK.

Waiting for refund for camcelation

I was billed $39 on March 16th, 2025, for 1 year of service. Shortly thereafter, I canceled my subscription as I was not satisfied with the service and also had concerns about access to my personal information.

To date, I have not been refunded.

This is my second request. I will contact my bank to dispute the charge if I don't see my refund after this communication.

I bought and paid for Total Adbloc. When it would work somebody at Total Adblock told me I couldnt do it with an iPhone.

I requested a refund at tat time.

I have the transcript.

Then I was charged for TAB THREE TIMEs. Sending Bank statement.

You cannot reach them on the weekends

They only work on weekdays, according to their website.

Their links to download software and get support do not work,

the instructions are poor to install.

I see the invoice for $1.99 for only one month, which goes to $9.99 per month for two and after. Their offer, in my opinion, is a BIG TIME SCAM.

Now, when reading comments from others, I see that this is a company and their software package you want to avoid.

Save yourself from grief. Do don't buy or try this software.

On March 1, 2024, I emailed TotalAd after noticing two transactions on my account for 23.90 and 119.00, requesting that this service be cancelled and my money refunded. I did not knowingly sign up for this service, nor did I ever need it.

The company responded to my email with instructions to go to their website and cancel. I used their link and had to actually install the application to request the cancellation. I never received a reply regarding the two debits noted above. On 2/13/25, another 155.00 was debited through PayPal, so I wrote to them again.

Once again, I received the standard email about going to the website to cancel. There is no link or anything that guides one to a phone number. I eventually found their number online and called. They agreed to cancel my account and refund the 155.00 from this year, but said there was no way to resolve the issue from last year even though they had a record of my email from 3/1/24.

What a sham this is. It's obviously not a great customer experience when a customer must hunt for a phone number to speak with someone.
